Une All Black en Bourgogne

    Cette semaine, j'ai eu la visite de Carol Bunn, de Nouvelle Zélande.

Triste de voir son équipe perdre, mais surtout heureuse de passer quelques jours en Bourgogne.

Carol est winemaker pour Vinpro, cuverie basée à Cromwell, Central Otago. Elle a participé aux plans de cette cuverie, qui fût opérationnelle pour la première vendange 2005.

Central Otago devient une région viticole en pleine ascension pour son Pinot Noir.

Pour le millésime 2006 & 2007, 500 tonnes de raisins furent vendangés, pour environ 20 différents viticulteurs de Central Otago.

Je rajouterais certainement des billets sur Carol, Vinpro et la Région de Central Otago d'ici quelques mois, si mon projet va jusqu'au bout...
En attendant, j'ai profité de sa présence pour visiter certains domaines et fournisseurs Bourguignons. Je vous en reparle pour ce week end.

She helped design the winery which was built in for the first harvest in 2005.

Central Otago is becoming well known for Pinot Noir. Vinpro Winery made 500 tonne of wine in both the 2006 & 2007 vintages, for around 20 different winegrowers from different sub-region of Central Otago.

I'll be back on Carol, Vinpro, Central Otago... in few months, if my project is working.
At this stage, I took the opportunity to visited with her some supplier, and wineries. More news this week end.
