Description of the wine :

A very small vintage, caused between others, by the weather problems that we had in the summer of 2004. We followed the grapes closely, after having already sorted them during the harvesting period. This vintage was plucked and masked, in order to spend a week in the vat. It was moderately measured, to keep a maximum of its fluidity. After a fortnight, and when the alcoholic fermentation was finished, the vintage was pressed and put into barrels. It was matured in the barrels for about 11 months. Fining, filtration and bottling at the Boyer-Martenot Estate.

Tasting :

A delight to the senses: a fresh and lively colour with deep purple hints, an exquisite nose of small fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, gooseberry …), balanced and harmonious on the palate. What more could you ask of such a young wine? Can be served with roast or grilled meat.
